Stopped by my favorite mall, Aventura Mall in Aventura,Florida. I love this place because they keep it innovative and fashion forward. DVF is celebrating "The Journey of a Dress" which showcases get epic wrap dresses. Love! Please stop by and see up close and personal. ...here are a few pictures but it won't substitute the real thing. SN: DVF is an acronym for Diane Von Furstenberg, the president of CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America). Quite a wonderful woman.
How To Be Fabulous:
Each Day of the Week
1. Stop Caring About What "They" Think
I'm talking about a mindset. It means you must release the burden of truly valuing opinions of people who don't contribute to your growth. That random lady at your job, that extremely nosey neighbor, or that judgmental half cousin are absolute non-factors. Once you truly do this, your pattern of decisions will change.
2. Create a De-stress Routine
When you unwind after a long day it's possibly the best feeling in the world. List 3 definite ways that you like to wash away your day. Make it solo activities that can be repeated without aggravation. Here are mine: long shower, fashion magazines and ratchet novellas.
3. Celebrate Yourself
Cheers to you! When you make small feats you should also schedule a small celebration. Maybe you nailed a presentation at work or maybe you didn't call him back like you promised yourself. .. No need for a golden award but bring on the applause. Take yourself to dinner or have a glass of expensive wine to commemorate your successes. You're totally worth it.
3 Things That Women Do to Prove Their Friendship
1. Shop- Ladies, you know the deal. No woman wants to share her secret shops of bogo and returns. These are sacred grounds. We don't just give this information away freely. If your friend.to.be takes you to a hot new spot that you never knew about them chances are she's hinting for friendship.
2. Shame- You knew before you stuffed yourself into those ugly culottes that it was a fashion mistake but you did it anyway. A real friend won't let that go down. She has to stop the madness. Yeah, it will hurt your feelings and you'll be embarrassed but it's a sacrifice worth making. Unless, you want to be seen at the local Starbucks looking like a clown.
3. Claim- Most of the time, girls can be catty. When a female wants to introduce you to get other friends it's getting pretty serious. She is officially claiming you now. Time to get the matching friendship bracelets and silver heart best friends forever necklaces.
She's the one.

Get Inspired
A Flair for Fashion
It's really good to get inspired. I recently went to a beautiful museum in Dania, Florida called Gallery of Amazing Things. There was a lot of eye grabbing displays to be inspired by. I wanted to share my experience with you. There is a fabulous exhibit of fashion art pieces hosted by the Weiner Museum of Design & Art . I suggest you check it out. They had a kick off party and fashion show that showcased historical designs per decade.
I emceed the show and introduced many gorgeous designs from students from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. It was truly amazing. So, get out there and find an inspiration. Go to an event and absorb something fresh and new.
I dare you.
3 of Fall's Best Accessory Trends 2014
1. Floral Headband
Wear this with an oversize plastic frame, a flowy dress and flats. You can do jeans and a t-shirt if you want a more causal look. Select flowers headbands that compliment your eye color. Either go super huge for a dramatic effect or go dainty if you want to turn heads slowly. Either way, this is the best accessory for fall that still pays homage to spring without being cheesy.
2. Metal Belts
At first glance you may hate this wonder woman look. Just try it on and you'll be persuaded. It pairs well with a-line dresses and pencil skirts. Please don't do jeans! Let the metal frame your waist or create one. I prefer gold because it has a reminiscent gladiator appeal but if silver tickles your fancy...be fancy.

How to: Dump Him For Good
5 Simple Rules You Must Follow
1. Appraise Yourself
Decide right now how much you're worth. Its just that simple. Look at yourself and make a conscience decision that you deserve better. Picture yourself when you're the happiest with your mate and decide you deserve that everyday. Convince yourself that your worth the effort and attention. Don't focus on him-think about you. Stay right in that mirror until you are totally convinced.
We'll wait.
2. Eliminate the Enemy
This is important and often the hardest part. No social media. No texts. No emails. No calls. No contact. Period. None of this subliminal posting either. Its just pointless to post up "I'm a survivor" quotes and other such nonsense. Delete his number, his pictures, his texts. You must do this right away. And don't play slick...no receiving calls or texts either. No matter how heartfelt and sweet they may seem. Do not do it. Refer to #1 for courage.
3. List Your Options
Make a list that you will never lose. The perfect man list. This is how you will start again. What do you want from a man? Dust off your bibles, ladies.... find out what God defines as a real man. Here's a few from my list that you can use to get started.
Protection, Affection, Romance, Faith, Children...Be specific.
4. Occupy Your Damn Time
Go out. Paint. Karaoke. Swim. Take a class. Watch a fun comedy. Bake. Volunteer. Hell, even clean up if want. Whatever you decide to do, do it. Make a choice to have fun right now before your in a new relationship. Celebrate yourself. Remember #1? You're worth it.
5. Upgrade
Go shopping. You need those endorphins right now. Besides it occupies your time. Buy something to commemorate your experience. Buy a watch, new shoes or a painting. Doesn't really matter so long as it means something to you. This seals the deal. Make it something valuable and sustainable. You want to remember this crappy feeling so you wont repeat it.
