-ask yourself if this store is trendy or classic
-before you walk in the store decide what your closet needs
what are the return policies?
-can you try the clothes on first? (trust me, new stores are eliminating fitting rooms)
-check the website for price comparisons
-take the store flyer with you just in case...
budget?
-before you go decide what your budget will be
-try to spend about 5% of your take-home pay
-check Groupon and RetailMeNot for deals
